A Refreshed NovelEats.com = A Giveaway
Thanks to everyone who participated in Novel Eat’s first giveaway! The winner was randomly chosen via RANDOM.ORG and is Ivy! Congratulations Ivy, and be on the lookout for an email from me (samantha at noveleats dot com).
Here’s her comment:
Love the new look! Favorite pie? Depending on mood, it’s a toss up between apple and chocolate no-bake pie.
Sounds like a yummy toss up to me. :)
|IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to shipping fees, if you are located outside of the United States, but still wish to enter, you will be entering instead for an Amazon.com gift certificate that is comparable to the total amount of this giveaway.|
In honor of a refreshed NovelEats.com, as well as in honor of one of my most popular blog posts of all time, Mini Apple Pies, I’d like to give one lucky winner a few items to help them make mini “insert fruit or filling of choice here” pies. These are tools I absolutely love to have in my kitchen anyway no matter what’s on the menu.
Here’s the Measurement Equivalents Magnet – I refer to this ALL the time. I don’t always want to measure vegan butter by the cup – I’d rather just figure it out with tablespoons. This thing is incredibly handy if you don’t already have one.
I am in love with this Vic Firth French Rolling Pin – I recently got this for my birthday and I honestly don’t know how I lived without it before. It’s great for rolling out any type of dough.
I don’t actually own these white Emile Henry Miniature Pie Dishes, but I’d love to! I made my mini apple pies in a muffin pan, and you totally can, too. But why do that when you’ve got these adorable pans in your possession?
To enter, answer the following question in ONE comment (to be fair to other contestants only enter once): What is your favorite pie? (Your winning does not rely on your answer!)
Be sure to include your email address in the email address line so I can reach you if you are the winner.
The contest will close in exactly one week on June 21, 2009 at 11:59pm ET is now closed and the winner will be chosen at random, then announced the following day.
Good luck, and this is just my way of saying thank you to each and every one of you for spending time with my little blog.
