2009 on Novel Eats
Like many people, our 2009 was stuffed full of change and challenge. The year started out with a move around the block and finding out the hard way that our oven’s temperature was about 30 – 45 degrees higher than normal (which I don’t believe I mentioned in that post, but that is what is partly to blame for charcoal muffins!). About halfway through the year, NovelEats.com underwent a redesign thanks to the hard efforts of my husband. In September, I asked you how vegan you were, and discovered more about myself and the reasons why I write this blog. In October we started packing up our lives (again) after living in New York City for about eight years, said good bye to some of our favorite vegetarian restaurants, and after a nearly week-long road trip we started a new life in Washington.
That is the year I remember, but I know that when it comes to Novel Eats it’s the recipes that you find to be the most helpful and interesting. I thought you might enjoy seeing what the the most popular recipes on Novel Eats were in the year 2009. Perhaps some of your personal favorites have topped the list (I know a few of mine most certainly have).

If 2009 was a year of hardship for you, I hope that 2010 brings you prosperity, a sense of peace and much joy. If 2009 was a good year for you, I hope that 2010 will give you more happy memories. But no matter what, I hope that 2010 is a year of perfect health, good friends and delicious food.
Happy Eating and Happy New Year!
Much love and appreciation,
Samantha
